WGI Manufacturing Inc. (WGI) and its subsidiary Diamond-Kote® “DK” has been serving the automotive appearance and protection products needs of the new vehicle retail dealer for over 33 years. Founded in 1968 DK has grown from its beginnings in Western Canada to serve dealers throughout Canada, the USA and most recently China.
WGI is an industry leader in the development of environmentally responsible products and packaging. All of our products are CFC free and exceed Environment Canada’s requirements for the elimination of ozone depleting substances. Our Research and Development team continually test new products for safety and effectiveness to ensure our products retain their premier status in the industry.
For as long as automobile manufacturers have been shipping vehicles form the point of assembly to the new vehicle dealer there has been transit damage to the painted surface upon arrival. As a result of intensive research and development WGI, created Weather Resistant Automotive Protective Spray (WRAPS™). This product has been specially formulated to protect the major components of the new car finish between the period of manufacturing and final delivery to the automobile dealer.
